REST Professional V15.5 – Adjust Tenant Reports Menu

Problem

Due to a hidden Windows setting, in certain circumstances, the new Tenant Ledger Reports drop down menu may appear to the left hand side instead of appearing on the right hand side as the arrow suggests.


 

Solution

  1. Selected the Windows + R button on your keyboard to launch the Run window

  2. Paste the following command into the Open field:
    %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{80F3F1D5-FECA-45F3-BC32-752C152E456E}

  3. Click on OK

  4. When the Tablet PC Settings screen opens, select the "Other" tab

  5. Set the Handedness option to "Left-Handed"

  6. Click on Apply and OK

  7. Go back into REST and the Menu drop down will now appear on the Right hand side as it should

  8. This solution will need to be repeated on all additional computers that you require
